SMK Seafield Interact IU Day! It's finally over. :)
ENTER ANCIENT EGYPT! *drumroll!*
2010 Interact IU Day came and went really quickly this year. Well, yours truly got the novelty of being emcee for the day! :D Awesome, no?
I know la we look pro! ;) Got told one week before the date by Diane. It was a pleasant surprise - I guess. Well, all I can say is this year's IU Day was the bomb aside from the minor technical problem we faced. Imagine having 500 over guests in a hall hungry for food and a powerfailure happens. :O That's what happened to us poor Interactors. Blehh, the DJ said that we overloaded the electric source (each one of those 4-feet tall speakers used up a 2400W charge!)
Well, Caprice opened the event with his signature Fantasy Girl song and his very own version of Pitbull's Hotel Room Service! Nevertheless, it was awesome. Especially the dance moves by his breakdance crew. On behalf of the SMK Seafield Interact Club. I'd like to thank Caprice for putting up a great show for us ;)
The next performance that followed was the Interact BOD Dance! It was pretty good considering we only practiced hardly 2 weeks before the ACTUAL IU! :D
After the BOD Dance, we started the whole ceremony with speeches and what not. Pftt. *snooree* Anyway, that was when the lights went out and everyone started to wonder. "Eh, this IU got refund arh?" Thank goodness Encik Rahim loved us soo much that he came back all the way to school to fix the tripped switch! :D While the lights were out, everyone started to camwhore as usual la. :|
Well, I had my fairshare too. :D Hee.
Glad to know my bro had his camwhore moments with his own friends too :D
I'd say the food was pretty good for a school level IU Day. Freshly made kebabs, Egyptian fried chicken and spaghetti Alfredo.. Nothing gets better than that ;) The cool part about this year's IU was the BOD had painstakingly used up their weekends to make these informative posters bout Ancient Egypt to be hung up on the walls. And believe me, the stuff we hung up were the most bizarre facts you'd ever get about Ancient Egypt. :O

There was even one about how Egyptians shave their legs to prevent insect bites. :S.
Well, after the power came back we continued the agenda for the day with the awesome set of performances! I'm not gonna tell you guys in detail about every single performance, but, all I can say is, every single one of them blew the house down! :D

And finally the part Min Yi was looking forward to the most, the arrival of our VVVVIP's, the Hitz.fm DJ's, Jin, Natalie and Ean! We only expected Jin to drop by our school but he brought along the whole gang anyway! I'd just like to say you guys were AWESOME for taking the trouble to come down all the way to our school just to pay us a visit! HITZ.FM ROCKS MY SOCKS!! Although I only managed to get one pic with Ean and a group pic with half of my body cut off. Pftt. Small matter! There's always next year ;)
The DJ's took over our job for one of the lucky draw sessions. And obviously they did a better job at it ;)
They even got a warm welcome from the crowd! :) Biasa la, Seafieldians eat, drink and breathe Hitz! ;) The part that touched me the most was when Jin screamed at us saying, "WE LOVE YOU!" after he came off the stage! :D Thanks Jin ;)

They were supposed to strut their stuff on stage for the crowd and I almost managed to persuade them to use the pole. :| Pftt.
And of course the event ended, with a slightly "potong steam-ed" dancefloor session. We had to wrap up the event on time according to Puan Chow, so yeah, it was cut short. :(
Temporary Euphoria :D
We were actually pretty happy its over. Took alotta effort on our part ;) Hopefully all the attendees enjoyed themselves :D
After clearing up the hall and sweeping the hall floor clear of all the left over kebabs, Audrey, I and the rest of the Interactors went out to Parade for a celebration of our own.
YES, WE HAD A PARTY, AFTER PARTY! :D
Headed on over to Secret Recipe. Jon Ho had 3 main courses! 2 chicken chops and 1 lasagna. You beat me flat flat la, Jon. You win without a doubt. We made the fries spell Sexy Whore.
Anyway, after we were done with our makan session, my mum offered to send Audrey (my so called secocok dressing partner) back home.
Guess who we bumped into on the way home? :D
What a way to end a day! XD
PS: From now on I shall have a new segment on my blog, quoting on the bizarre and funny stuff I hear day in day out. And its gonna be called K-uote of the day!! :D
